Better than Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Grandma deserves your respect.  Don’t tell anyone your cookies are better.  That will be our secret.

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons molasses
1 cup oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
10 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  Cream the sugars, molasses, oil, and eggs together.  Add the vanilla.  In a separate bowl, blend the flour together with the baking soda and salt.  Add to the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix until well blended and it tastes like cookie dough.  Stir in the chocolate chips.  Drop spoonfuls of batter on to a cookie sheet and bake for ten minutes, give or take one minute.  Allow to cool before eating.  Duh.

Yields a bunch of cookies.  Hide them if you want to see them last more than a day.
